Mark Collett, DVM, owner of Park Hills Animal Hospital, is a Northern Kentucky native, lifelong Covington Catholic Colonel, and Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine Class of 1996 alumni. Dr. Collett has been practicing at Park Hills Animal Hospital since completing his externship here in 1996.
In addition to his passion for small animal medicine, his interests include horseback riding, sports — Auburn athletics in particular.
Dr. Collett is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association. Throughout his career, he has actively supported many community causes and events.
Dr. Lauren Buckley was born and raised in Northern Kentucky and knew her calling was to become a veterinarian at a very young age. She graduated from Villa Madonna Academy, earning a full scholarship to Thomas Moore College. She earned her veterinary doctorate from Auburn University in 2013 before joining Park Hills Animal Hospital.
She finds animal medicine and her relationships with her patients and clients very rewarding. Dr. Buckley holds dear the memory of her 15-year best friendship with Luke, her miniature schnauzer. In October, she welcomed the newest loves of her life, Kuye, and Shay.
Dr. Amanda Danahy has been a member of the Park Hills Animal Hospital team since 2022. She is a 2020 graduate of Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Before joining PHAH, she worked at a small animal clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, but she always knew she wanted to end up back in NKY. She graduated with her B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Kentucky in 2016, and she attended Notre Dame Academy for high school.
Dr. Danahy is Fear-Free certified with the goal of making her patients' visits as stress-free as possible. She has a love of bulldogs, and she has a Frenchie mix of her own named Cherry. She also has an Aussie-Dachshund mix named Simcoe and a cat named Dolores. In her free time, Dr. Danahy enjoys reading, watching scary movies, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.
